Multiparameter Airborne Geophysical Surveys

The Multinational Andean Project (MAP) was an international scientific project between Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Chile and Peru, aimed at better understanding the geological evolution of the central Andes in order to enhance mineral exploration. During the project, three consortium magnetometer/spectrometer airborne surveys were flown. Several shares are still available in the final survey. This 70,000 sq. km. survey covered parts of Bolivia, Chile and Peru and includes a privately acquired magnetic/spectrometer survey over the Coniri Fault zone in Bolivia with a line spacing of 500 m and more detailed subareas which is included in the dataset. Shares in this survey are available during the exclusivity period which expires in November 2002. Total cost for the data and maps, including the Coniri Fault data is $75,000us*. Participants will also receive access to products which will be produced during the analysis phase.
